Milford, Delware - map created in October 2007

Delaware State Route 1 bypasses the city of Milford along an expressway to the east, while SR 1 Business loops west along Rehoboth Boulevard. The state route follows the former alignment of SR 14 north to NE Front Street. SR 14 originally took Rehoboth Boulevard as part of its north-south alignment to Ocean City, Maryland. It was renumbered as SR 1 in 1974, and realigned to end at the Milford bypass via NE Front Street.

North of the Mispillion River and Kent County line, SR 1 Business turns onto Walnut Street for the return to SR 1 by way of U.S. 113. Wye interchanges connect both ends with the expressway on SR 1.
