Interstate 540 is multiplexed with US 62 and US 71 in Fayetteville.  The road was built in the 1970's, but wasn't  given Interstate status until January 1999.

The Bobby Hopper Tunnel,  near Winslow on the newly opened Interstate 540.  The tunnel is a twin-tube design, and is 1600 feet in length.

Here is a closer view of the tunnel.  Passing is allowed in the tunnel.
