Route 3A

There are two separate sections for NH 3A. The northern component loops north from U.S. 3 at Franklin along the Pemigewasset River to Hill, Bristol and Newfound Lake and east from West Plymouth alongside NH 25 to Interstate 93 in Plymouth. The south section is a 39.4 mile extension of Massachusetts Route 3A north from Hudson to Litchfield, Manchester, Hooksett, Bow and Concord. The southern NH 3A primarily consists of a local route to both U.S. 3 and the F.E. Everett Turnpike.

NH 3A follows Main Street through south Concord. State Street branches north from the state route just ahead of the junction with U.S. 3 (Water Street). 07/30/07
U.S. 3 overtakes Main Street via Manchester Street and an adjacent SPUI with Interstate 93. The south segment of NH 3A ends here. 07/30/07
Heading north, U.S. 3 (Main Street) progresses toward Downtown Concord and the New Hampshire State House, combining with U.S. 202 and NH 9 in the process. Southward, U.S. 3 spans the Merrimack River by the south end of Concord Municipal Airport (CON). 07/30/07
NH 3A intersects the south end of the Interstate 89 freeway at Bow Junction. The state route proceeds north from there by a number of car dealerships to the Concord city line. 06/27/05
