| Continuing 0.75 miles east, I-95 meets SR 1 south and SR 7 at a systems interchange. Representing the busiest crossroads in the state of Delaware. SR 1 carries between 70,000 and 100,000 vehicles a day of commuter and long distance traffic between I-95 and U.S. 13 at Tybouts Corner. The adjacent Christiana Mall retail area also adds a significant amount of traffic to both freeways. 12/19/22 |
| Guide signs erected by late 2013 reflected the consolidation of Exits 4A/B into a single departure point from I-95 northbound. SR 1 commences a 103.02 mile route south to Ocean City, Maryland at adjacent SR 58 (Churchmans Road). SR 1/7 combine 0.75 miles through the exchange with I-95 to Christiana. SR 7 extends north from SR 1 to Churchmans Crossing, Delaware Park, Christiana Hospital and Stanton.
