Interstate 4 East
A parclo B2 interchange joins I-4 with U.S. 27 at Exit 55. Prior to six lane expansion of I-4 between Exit 55 and the Osceola County, this stretch was the site of routine traffic congestion. However traffic back-ups are again not uncommon due to suburban expansion of the Orlando area. 09/11/22
Originating in Miami, then angling northwest past Lake Okeechobee toward the Orlando area, U.S. 27 is a major corridor throughout the state of Florida. Where it crosses Interstate 4 at Posner Park, U.S. 27 is approximately midway between the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. 09/11/22
U.S. 27 trudges through a suburbanized corridor between Haines City and Clermont. The four to six lane arterial heads north eight miles to U.S. 192 east at Four Corners, the location where Lake, Orange, Osceola, and Polk Counties come together. 09/11/22
Widening of Interstate 4 through northeast Polk County improved the ramp geometry at Exit 55. The eastbound off-ramp ties into U.S. 27 across from Southwest Access Road to an RV park. 05/15/16
A heavily developed route, U.S. 27 runs nine miles south past western reaches of Davenport into Haines City and 22 miles northward to SR 50 in Clermont. 12/05/21
Suburban development added in 2021/22 lines the north side of Interstate 4 to CR 54 (Ronald Reagan Parkway). Wetland areas spread to the south along this stretch. 06/03/23
A distance sign in place by Spring 2023 incorrectly displays the Florida's Turnpike at 22 miles out, when actually I-4 crosses the toll road in 20 miles. 06/03/23
Started in Spring 2021 and wrapped up by late Spring 2023, a $13.3 million interchange improvement project modified the diamond interchange (Exit 58) with CR 532 (Osceola Polk Line Road) into a DDI. 08/18/23
CR 54 (Ronald Reagan Parkway) passes over I-4 a half mile southwest of Exit 58. The arterial serves fast growing suburban development east from U.S. 27 to U.S. 17/92 and Poinciana Parkway (SR 538) at Loughman. Champions Gate Boulevard arcs 0.9 miles west from Exit 58 to CR 54. 06/03/23
The exchange at Exit 58 straddles the Osceola County line. CR 532 heads 4.40 miles east to U.S. 17/92. The community of Poinciana lies south of U.S. 17/92 via Poinciana Parkway (SR 538). Champions Gate Boulevard extends west from Osceola-Polk Line Road to the nearby golf course community. 08/18/23
Downtown Kissimmee lies 14 miles east from Exit 58 via CR 532 and U.S. 17-92. With the opening of Poinciana Parkway (SR 538) south from Kinner Harmon Road, the distance to Poinciana was reduced from 17 to 13 miles. 09/20/17
Elevating to pass over CR 532, I-4 east advances 1.5 miles to Exit 60 for SR 429 (Daniel Webster Western Beltway) north. Construction started in Fall 2021 added auxiliary lanes along this stretch. 06/03/23
Interstate 4 angles across the northwest corner of Osceola County for 7.88 miles. 08/18/23
Interstate 4 leaves the Champions Gate area and passes by the Reunion golf course / resort communities over the next two miles. 08/18/23
The main entrance to Walt Disney World lies two miles beyond SR 429 via Exit 62 and World Drive. The resort area is also accessible from SR 429 north to Western Way at Exit 8. 08/18/23
Opened on December 5, 2006, SR 429 (Daniel Webster Western Beltway) joins I-4 at Exit 60 with Florida's Turnpike near Ocoee and U.S. 441 (Orange Blossom Trail) at Apopka. The toll road joins Walt Disney World from the west and continues north through Horizon West and other western Orange County suburbs. 06/03/23
Tradition Boulevard spans I-4 at forthcoming Exit 60. SR 429 serves suburban development in northwest Osceola County and southwest Orange County including Indian Ridge and Horizon West. Much of the Western Beltway frontage was rural when SR 429 was finished in 2006. 06/03/23
SR 429, in conjunction with SR 417 (Central Florida GreeneWay / Seminole Expressway), constitutes the beltway system of Orlando. The final leg of SR 429 along Wekiva Parkway, from near Mount Dora east to I-4 and SR 417 at Sanford, is under construction to Summer 2023. SR 417 and SR 429 south do not meet at the same exchange due to efforts of area developers and leaders. 06/03/23
Providing the main route to the Walt Disney World resort complex from the south, World Dive meets I-4 two miles northeast of SR 429. Connections with Osceola Parkway serve the Animal Kingdom and the Wide World of Sports complex while the expressway leads directly to Hollywood Studios, Epcot and the Magic Kingdom. 10/01/22
New signs for Exit 62 installed in 2006 were part of a $26.6 million project widening 6.5 miles of I-4 between the Polk County line and U.S. 192 (Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway) between 2003 and September 2006.1 06/03/23
Interstate 4 passes under Osceola County Road 545 (Old Lake Wilson Road) within the directional T interchange for SR 429. 10/01/22

The collector distributor roadway at Exit 62 partitions traffic for World Drive and SR 417 (Central Florida GreeneWay) well ahead of the exchange joining I-4 with U.S. 192 (Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway). 09/11/22
The Central Florida GreeneWay provides a bypass of Orlando east to the Beachline Expressway (SR 528). SR 528 joins Orange County with Kennedy Space Center (KSC) and Port Canaveral along the Space Coast. 10/01/22
Advancing northeast to Celebration, Interstate 4 traverses an area of wetlands surrounding Reedy Creek. 08/25/18
A directional cloverleaf interchange joins I-4 with World Drive at Exit 62. World Drive leads 5.63 miles north from nearby Celebration Boulevard to Epcot Center Drive within the Walt Disney World resort. Formed in 1994, Celebration is a town built by the Disney Corporation to the south of Interstate 4. 09/11/22
SR 417 (Central Florida GreeneWay) connects with Jeff Fuqua Parkway north to Orlando International Airport (MCO) in 18 miles. SR 417 reaches Sanford in 50 miles. 09/11/22
The c/d roadway at Exit 62 extends 1.4 miles northeast to the wye interchange where SR 417 branches east toward Kissimmee and Hunters Creek. The I-4 mainline continues 2.5 miles to a directional cloverleaf interchange (Exit 64) with U.S. 192 (Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway). 09/11/22
Celebration Boulevard runs northeast along I-4 through Celebration to Campus Street and southwest from Celebration High School to the Celebration Island Village development started in 2020. 10/01/22
World Drive comprises an expressway from Interstate 4 to Disney's Magic Kingdom. Interchanges along the road serve Disney's Hollywood Studios, Bay Lake and Disney's Animal Kingdom. 10/01/22
The c/d roadway at Exit 62 expands to four lanes north from World Drive. Traveling 54.06 miles overall, State Road 417 encircles Orlando eastward by Kissimmee and northward to Union Park and Oviedo. The toll road returns to I-4 north of Lake Mary at Exit 101 B. 10/13/21
A slip ramp provides return access onto Interstate 4 eastbound from World Drive and Celebration Boulevard. SR 417 turns east along the Southern Connector Extension to the Celebration Toll Plaza. 10/13/21
Reconstruction of Interstate 4 between January 2005 and September 2007 through the Disney World area included the $61 million upgrade of the exchange with U.S. 192.2 A new flyover ramp was constructed from U.S. 192 west to I-4 west and the ramps for Exits 64 A/B were reconfigured onto a new distributor roadway. 09/11/22

Exit 65 departs from I-4 east for Osceola Parkway (CR 522) below U.S. 192. The parkway constitutes a controlled access expressway west to Disney's Animal Kingdom. 09/11/22
Designated CR 522, Osceola Parkway is a county maintained toll road and arterial from Interstate 4 east to Florida's Turnpike. The parkway west to Disney World is not tolled. 09/11/22
The distributor roadway at Exit 65 loops onto Osceola Parkway west into Walt Disney World beyond the signalized turn for CR 522 east to Kissimmee and Buena Ventura Lakes. 10/01/15
Interstate 4 east continues through the parclo interchange with Osceola Parkway to Exit 67 for Epcot Center Drive west and SR 536 (World Center Drive) east. Disney Springs is a large shopping and entertainment district that lies near Lake Buena Vista. 09/11/22
SR 536 (World Center Drive) constitutes a 2.03 mile long arterial east from Epcot Center Drive to SR 535 (Vineland Road). World Center Drive extends east from SR 535/536 as a locally maintained arterial to SR 417 north. 09/11/22
Interstate 4 east expands to five lanes leading into the directional cloverleaf interchange (Exit 67) with SR 536 east and Epcot Center Drive west. 09/11/22, 09/03/17
Epcot Center Drive arcs 3.15 miles northwest from Interstate 4 and SR 536 as an expressway to Epcot and World Drive in Walt Disney World. 09/11/22
SR 536 east to Continental Gateway or World Gateway Drive links with the Orlando World Center development along South International Drive. International Drive is discontinuous between SR 536 and World Center Drive east of SR 535. 09/11/22
Two lanes separate from Interstate 4 eastbound for the distributor roadway at Exit 67 to SR 536 east and Epcot Center Drive. The Disney Springs complex lies north of the exchange along Buena Vista Drive. 09/11/22

International Drive stems north from World Center Drive adjacent to the wye interchange with SR 417 north. Paralleling I-4 from south Orange County into southwest Orlando at Oak Ridge Road, International Drive weaves northward between an array of apartment complexes and resort communities. 09/03/17
Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney) lies within the Disney owned incorporated city of Lake Buena Vista. Bay Lake to the west is also owned by the Walt Disney Corporation. 09/03/17
Epcot Center Drive provides direct access to the Epcot complex ahead of the trumpet interchange with World Drive. World Drive enters the Magic Kingdom area north from the end of Epcot Center Drive. 11/14/15

SR 535 (S Apopka Vineland Road) meets Interstate 4 next at a parclo interchange (Exit 68). The state road travels 3.62 miles northwest from U.S. 192 in Osceola County to I-4 and CR 535. Future work upgrading Exit 68 revises SR 535 with echelon interchanges at adjacent Hotel Plaza Boulevard and Vineland Avenue. 09/11/22
Exit 68 departs I-4 east for SR 535/CR 535 (S Apopka-Vineland Road). SR 535 heads southward to Lake Bryan and associated resort areas. CR 535 extends north to the nearby intersection of Palm Parkway and Winter Garden-Vineland Road. 09/11/22
Following Winter Garden-Vineland Road by Lake Buena Vista, CR 535 runs 15.85 northwest to SR 50 at Winter Garden. Apopka-Vineland Road continues north to Doctor Phillips and Bay Hill while Palm Parkway parallels I-4 northeast to Turkey Lake Road. 09/11/22
Vineland Avenue runs along the east side of Interstate 4 north from SR 535 to the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets. 09/11/22
International Drive acts as a conduit to a number of resort and shopping areas along the Interstate 4 corridor in southern Orange County. The arterial is accessible from Exits 71 through 75A. 09/11/22
