
Florida State Road 105 travels 15.06 miles east from Northside, Jacksonville to Fanning Island in Duval County. Following Zoo Parkway, SR 105 branches east from I-95 to adjacent U.S. 17 and Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens. The four lane arterial continues by industrial areas in Imeson Park to span the Broward River north of Drummond Point. Running along the north side of the St. Johns River, SR 105 crosses Dunn Creek east at Broward Point.
East of Interstate 295, SR 105 connects with Dave Rawls Boulevard south onto Blount Island. The four lane section ends as SR 105 (Heckscher Drive) straddles the north banks of the St. Johns River east to Browns Creek. The remainder of the state road runs between the river and Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve. The route concludes on Fanning Island, where SR A1A takes over along Heckscher Drive north from the Ft. George - Mayport Ferry.
