County Road 68 and State Road 68 form a 29.75 mile long highway from U.S. 441 in rural Okeechobee County to U.S. 1 in Downtown Fort Pierce. The rural county road bee lines east across agricultural areas and ranch land from Hilolo into central Martin County. CR 68 transitions into SR 68 (Orange Avenue) at SR 713 (Kings Highway), adjacent to the six-ramp parclo interchange with Interstate 95. Orange Avenue constitutes a four lane arterial east to Angle Road (CR 607A) and a five lane boulevard from there to 13th Street. The easternmost section of SR 68 is a tree lined two lane boulevard.
