Similar to nearby SR 227 to the south, SR 225 comprises an urban connector joining Interstate 15, SR 67 (Legacy Parkway) and U.S. 89 with SR 106 (Main Street) in the city of Farmington. The 0.745 mile alignment along Park Lane passes through back to back diamond interchanges with I-15/SR 67 and the U.S. 89 freeway north to Fruit Heights.
